Senior defensive end Drake Neuberger (Norwalk, Ohio / Norwalk) earned OAC Defensive Player of the Week honors after leading the Pioneers to a 14-13 season-opening win over the University of Dubuque. Neuberger led the Pioneer defense with a Marietta College single game record 5.0 sacks. The All-American finished with 6.5 tackles for a loss and 13 total tackles, including six solo and seven assisted stops. Neuberger also blocked a Dubuque field goal attempt in the first quarter.
