Marietta College Athletics

Softball junior catcher Alyssa Cook (Akron, Ohio/Ellet) hit safely in three of Marietta’s four games last week and had a pair of multiple-hit games. She went a combined 3-for-6 with a triple and one RBI in the Pioneers’ doubleheader with Muskingum. Cook had two hits in Marietta’s first game at Ohio Northern. For the week, she hit .385 and played errorless defense behind the plate.
