Men’s Tennis junior Shane Spencer (Vermilion, Ohio/Vermilion) was named the OAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week after going 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles last week as the Pioneers defeated Ohio Christian and Heidelberg. Playing No. 1 singles, Spencer posted a 6-1, 6-1 win against Ohio Christian and then won in three sets at Heidelberg, 2-6, 6-0 and 6-4. With partner Jack Hirschfield, the duo posted 8-2 and 8-4 wins in the top spot.
