Volleyball senior outside hitter Darcy Irish (Lagrange, Ohio/Keystone) has had the hot hand for the Pioneers recently. She has recorded double digit kills in eight of MC’s last 10 matches. Last week she smashed 18 kills and had a .387 attack percentage in the Pioneers’ 3-0 win over Wilmington. For the week she averaged 4.0 kills per set with a .231 attack percentage. On the season, Irish leads Marietta with 218 total kills (2.66 per set). She is also averaging 1.11 digs and 0.38 blocks per set.
