Marietta College Athletics

Women’s Soccer defender Amanda Augustyniak (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington Central) scored her first career goal in Marietta’s 1-0 win over Thiel College last week. The sophomore knocked it in off the crossbar in the 62nd minute breaking the scoreless tie. Augustyniak also helped the Pioneers post their third straight shutout and limited the Tomcats to just 4 total shots in the match. For the season, Augustyniak and the rest of the Marietta defense have recorded 4 shutouts.
