Baseball sophomore third baseman Greg Peffley (Englewood, Ohio/Northmont) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week after batting .500 with a double and five RBI in Marietta’s season-opening doubleheader sweep at Ohio Wesleyan. He was 2-for-5 in Marietta’s 4-1 win in game one. Peffley collected three hits and drove in five runs as Marietta rolled to a 19-2 victory in game two.
