Men’s Basketball junior point guard Dillon Young (Laurelville, Ohio / Logan Elm) averaged 18.5 points and 3.0 rebounds per game last week as the Pioneers extended their winning streak to 10 games. Marietta is 19-4 overall and 14-2 in the OAC. Young drained seven three-pointers and scored a career-high 25 points in MC’s 94-78 win against Capital. He shot an incredible 9-of-11 from the floor and was 7-of-8 behind the arc. Young followed that with a 12-point performance in MC’s 94-79 win at Wilmington. For the week he shot a blazing 73.7% from the floor and 81.8% from three-point range. On the season, Young is averaging 10.3 points per game and leads Marietta with 47 three-pointers.
