Marietta College Athletics

Sophomore pitcher Kristina LaRocca (Strasburg, Ohio/Franklin) picked up two of Marietta’s three wins last week. She tossed a complete game against in the Pioneers’ 6-5 win over Ohio Northern and then worked 4.1 innings to get the win in the 15-4 victory at Kenyon. LaRocca also pitched four shutout innings of relief against Bethany. For the week, she was 2-0 with a 1.83 earned run average. She allowed nine runs, only four earned, and struck out five.
