Junior pitcher Kordell Antill (Woodsfield, Ohio/Monroe Central) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week after pitching six innings of shutout relief in three appearances last week. Antill retired all nine batters he faced to get the win in Marietta’s 11-4 victory over Adrian College in the Piedmont College Spring Classic. He struck out the first two Adrian hitters in the fourth inning and finished with four strikeouts in the game. In 12 innings pitched this season Antill has allowed only one unearned run. Opposing hitters had managed just five base hits for a paltry .125 batting average against Antill. He has walked one and struck out 11. Antill is 1-0 with one save.
