Men’s Basketball junior post player A.J. Edwards (Twinsburg, Ohio/Twinsburg) was named the OAC Player of the Week after earning Shrine Tournament MVP honors. Edwards led the Pioneers in scoring and rebounding in all three MC wins last week. He notched his second straight double-double with 15 points and 13 boards against Bethany and then scored 16 points with seven rebounds and five blocked shots against Methodist in the Shrine opener. Edwards poured in 20 points and grabbed seven more rbounds in MC’s 92-90 Shrine Championship win over No. 6 Catholic.
