Marietta College Athletics

Senior Patrick Specht (Glenview, Ill./New Trier) led the Pioneer varsity 4+ shell to a fourth place finish out of 46 boats at the 51st annual Head of the Charles Regatta. Marietta posted a time of 17:27.307 on the 4,800-meter course. Notre Dame took the gold medal. Marietta’s lineup for the race included Specht at coxswain, Chris Metz in the stroke seat, Jack Gleim, Matthew Bush and Ethan Schafhausen in the bow.
