Marietta College Athletics

Men’s Tennis senior Alex Schaeffer (Louisville, Ohio/Marlington) went 4-2 last week as the Pioneers won two of three matches. Schaeffer was a perfect 4-0 leading Marietta to the championship at the Washington & Jefferson Fall Invitational. He posted a pair of straight-set victories at No. 1 singles and teamed with Shane Spencer for two wins at No. 1 doubles as the Pioneers defeated W&J and Frostburg State for the title.
