Baseball senior third baseman Ryan Hanahan (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richalnd) was named the OAC Hitter of the Week after hitting safely in all four games and posting three multiple-hit games. He had a .611 batting average and drove in 11 runs. Hanahan went a combined 7-for-9 against the Purple Raiders with six runs scored, seven RBI, two doubles and two home runs. Hanahan delivered a 3-for-5 performance in Marietta's 13-7 win over nationally ranked Heidelberg. He had a double, a triple and four runs driven in. For the season, Hanahan leads the Pioneers with a .364 batting average. He is also tops on the team with 40 hits, 11 doubles, four triples, six home runs and 40 runs batted in.
