Women’s Tennis senior Kelsey Jeffrey (The Plains/Athens) accounted for two of Marietta’s four team points in the Pioneers’ season-opener. Jeffrey partnered with Hannah Stankus at No. 3 doubles and posted and 8-6 victory. In singles play, Jeffrey notched a straight-set win at No. 5. She downed her opponent 6-4 and 6-1.
