Senior first baseman/pitcher Hazel Brogdon finished her career in the Navy Blue and White by pitching a complete game victory against Baldwin-Wallace. Brogdon tossed six innings and gave up one run on five hits with a walk. She finished her senior season with a team-leading 1.79 earned run average. Outside the circle, Brogdon was the starting first baseman and lead the Pioneers with a .993 fielding average committing just one error the entire spring. Brogdon carries a 3.8 grade point average in bio-chemistry. She has spent the last two summers doing biomedical research at the University of Alaska, Anchorage and plans to attend medical school in 2013.
