Senior Kyle Lindquist posted a pair of saves last week and was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week. He made three appearances and pitched four shutout innings. Lindquist didn’t allow a runner into scoring position and struck out five batters without issuing a walk. In the Pioneers’ 5-3 win over Heidelberg, Lindquist retired all six batters he faced. For the season he has four saves and a 0.00 earned run average in seven appearances and 11.0 innings of work. Lindquist has struck out 10 and has not issued a walk.
