Jill Isaly begins her third season as assistant women's basketball coach at Marietta College in 2026-27.
"We are so thrilled to welcome Jill back to the Marietta College Women's Basketball family," said Andersen. “She was such an important part of our team and culture from 2018-2022. While she had a great playing career for the Pioneers, she was also a tremendous leader in the locker room.”
Isaly is no stranger to Marietta College basketball as she recently finished up a very successful four-year career with the Pioneers. She was a letter-winner in all four seasons, averaging 5.2 points and 1.5 rebounds in 95 career games. Before she completed her senior campaign, Isaly helped make history as she was a part of the very first Pioneer squad to win a NCAA Tournament game, scoring eight points in Marietta’s first round victory over Wittenberg, 65-50.
Upon graduation, Isaly was named assistant varsity girls basketball coach at Bloom Carroll High School where she made an immediate impact. She was heavily involved in player development and ran point on practice schedules. Isaly was crucial to gameday planning and used her leadership skills to constantly encourage her players to play as a team. Last season, Bloom Carroll claimed the Division II Central District Championship and Isaly was named Division II District 11 Assistant Coach of the Year.
Originally from Circleville, Ohio, Isaly graduated from Marietta in 2022 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Medicine. She is married to former Pioneer men's basketball player Lukas Isaly.
