Jake Snyder begins his first season as assistant men's basketball coach at Marietta College in 2025-26.

Snyder arrives at Marietta after spending the last two seasons as a graduate assistant for the men’s basketball team at Kent State University where he worked with the team in improving their abilities and practiced as a part of the scout team. Last season, he helped guide the Golden Flashes to the quarterfinals of the NIT Tournament. In the two seasons prior, Snyder gained valuable coaching experience as the head coach for Clutch Basketball, an AAU team out of Stow, Ohio.

Snyder is no stranger to the Ohio Athletic Conference as he had a successful collegiate career at Baldwin Wallace University. He was named All-OAC Honorable Mention in his final two seasons, averaging 13 points and four assists a game. Snyder was also named Academic All-OAC twice and was named as a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection his senior campaign.

Originally from Akron, Ohio, Snyder graduated from Baldwin Wallace in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management. He completed his master's degree in Business Administration at Kent State in 2025.
