Hadley Sterett begins her first year as an assistant coach for Marietta College volleyball in 2022-23.
Sterett comes to Marietta from Wittenberg University where she served as assistant coach for the last three seasons. She helped direct the Tigers to a 22-9 record and a North Coast Athletic Conference Championship in 2021. Sterett also helped guide Wittenberg to two NCAA tournament appearances in her three seasons on staff.
Sterett has experience in recruiting and player development from her time at Wittenberg and has coached at numerous summer collegiate camps across the state.
Sterett was a two-year letter winner at Wright State University in 2015 and 2016, averaging 1.72 kills per set, before transferring to Otterbein University in 2017. At Otterbein, Sterett ranked in the top-15 nationally in kills per set during the 2018 season, eventually earning Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Year honors.
Sterett played a key role in the Cardinals capturing the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament championships in both of her years in Westerville, along with advancing to the NCAA Regional Tournament her junior season.
A native of Huron, Ohio, Sterett earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Otterbein in 2018 and a Master’s degree in Athletic Coaching and Administration from Wittenberg in 2021.
