Adrian Rutt begins his first season as the assistant volleyball coach in 2012.
Rutt played collegiately at Siena Heights University in Michigan. During his time at Siena Heights, Rutt served as captain for three years for the Saints. Rutt was a second-team All-MAMVIC performer in both 2010 and 2011 and was a three-time All-Academic team selection. He graduated with BA in History in May.
Rutt believes he can bring a different perspective to the Marietta squad. He played men’s volleyball for four years and hopes to incorporate some facets of the men’s game into the women’s program at Marietta.
Rutt was an assistant junior varsity coach at Adrian High School for the past two seasons. He was an assistant to a 17U club volleyball team and an 18U national team at Siena Volleyball Academy.
