Coach Brewer says: “Tyler has been our #3 or #4 for parts of the previous three seasons. He has gained a ton of valuable experience and made a major commitment to his strength and conditioning training. Tyler will be one of our top two or three guys all year.”
2016: Earned his third varsity letter after appearing in 10 games and making 10 starts on the mound ... Named Academic All-OAC ... Pitched 4.0 innings, allowing one run, to get the win against Penn State Behrend on May 8th ... Threw 7.0 innings against Baldwin Wallace in the OAC Tournament on May 14th, allowing one run and striking our five, in a no-decision.
2015: Earned his second varsity letter after appearing in 11 games and making 10 starts on the mound ... Struck out a career-high six batters against Webster on March 9th ... Started and got the win against Heidelberg in the OAC Tournament Championship game on May 9th ... Named Academic All-OAC.
2014: Earned his first varsity letter after appearing in 11 games and making nine starts ... Made his collegiate debut and recorded his first career win with 5.1 innings of three-hit work against Wooster on March 11th ... Threw 8.0 innings allowing one run in win at case Western Reserve on April 6th ... Struck out a career-high five hitters in win at Ohio Northern on April 18th.
