Jeny Wolbert begins her first season as the assistant women’s soccer coach at Marietta College in 2013.
Wolbert comes to Marietta after an impressive playing career at the University of Akron. A full scholarship athlete at Akron, Wolbert was an All-Mid-American Conference goalkeeper for the Zips. She holds the Akron single season records for saves (88) and goals against average (0.98). Wolbert holds the career records for saves (256), wins (22) and minutes played (5,145).
The Canadian native was a member of the Ontario Provincial Team from 2003-2008 and the Canadian National Team program from 2004-2008.
Wolbert started her coaching career as the head junior varsity and assistant varsity coach girls coach at Orange (Ohio) High school during the 2012-13 school year. She also worked with Hands On Soccer Camp in Kent for the past year.
Wolbert graduated from the University of Akron in 2013 with a bachelors degree in graphic design.
