Daniella Blitz begins her second year as assistant coach for the Marietta College women’s soccer team in 2024-25.
This will be Blitz’s first collegiate coaching assignment as she just recently finished her playing career. She played three seasons for the Goucher College Gophers (Baltimore, Md.), appearing in 40 games and making 15 starts. In her senior season, Blitz scored two goals and assisted on two others.
Blitz bolstered her coaching skill set last spring as she worked with i9 Sports as she managed game-day operations while building relationships with players, parents, and coaches. She also observed, assessed, and assisted volunteer coaches/staff members.
Originally from Robbinsville, New Jersey, Blitz graduated from Goucher with a bachelor's degree in Economics and Communications in May of 2023, appearing on the dean’s list six times.
