Maggie Miller is in her second year as associate head women's basketball coach, fourth year overall, at Marietta.

In the past 3 years, she has helped the Pioneers compile a successful record of 56-27. Miller has been in charge of working with guards, and since her start has helped develop five All-Conference selections and one All-American. Serving as the Recruiting Coordinator on staff, Miller has assisted in revamping recruiting methods in order to bring in some of the best talent in the region over the last 3 years. Miller is also Strength and Conditioning certified as she is in charge of sports performance for the team.

Coach Vivian raved about the work Coach Miller has done on staff. "We are extremely lucky to have someone who is as personable, knowledgeable, and driven as Coach Miller on our staff. She excels in each area of coaching. She has had a major hand in turning our team into one of the top programs in the region over the last three years."

Miller came to Marietta after spending two seasons as an assistant coach at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana. Miller was responsible for breaking down game film and creating scouting reports on the Quaker opponents. In addition, she served as the head junior varsity coach and recruiting coordinator.

Prior to Earlham, Miller served two years as a graduate assistant for facilities marketing and event management at Defiance College. She also served as a volunteer assistant coach with the Yellow Jacket women’s basketball team during the 2014-15 season.

The Salem, Ohio native played collegiately at the University of Mount Union helping the Purple Raiders to three Ohio Athletic Conference titles and three appearances in the NCAA Tournament. Miller’s class finished as the winningest in program history with a 100-18 career record.

Miller graduated from the University of Mount Union in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport Business. She then completed a Master of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Sport Management at Defiance College in 2015
