Chris Rusher is entering his fourth season as a throws coach, Rusher started at Marietta College in 2017.
In 2019-20 Rusher coached Kasey Neville, the OAC Indoor Champion in the women’s shot put. Neville would go on to be named an All-American in the women’s shot put during the 2019-20 season.
Prior to Marietta, Rusher founded G-Force Strength Unit, which is an evangelistic ministry using feats of strength to communicate a message.
Rusher is currently a faculty member at Parkersburg South High School in the business department.
Rusher received his Bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University with a dual major in Economics and Business Management. Rusher also received a Master’s of Business from Central Michigan.
Rusher continued his education career and obtained his Doctorate in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University.
Rusher lives in Cutler, Ohio with his wife Heather, and his son Cayden.
