Biography

2012: Was Marietta’s most successful tennis player in 2012. Played #4 singles and #2 doubles with Andy Knauff. Had a three-set win against Salem State. Had impressive singles wins against Defiance and Capital, and doubles wins against Mount Union and Capital. Was named OAC Tennis Player of the Week in March after his singles record opened at 9-0.

Biggest Strength – Serve, Volleying, Forehand

Coach Carpenter Says: “Karl is a very relaxed person, and does a good job at making everyone feel comfortable and prepared. He plays like upperclassmen. You wouldn’t think that he’s just a freshman. He’s still young and we expect him to become a leader in the future and really develop as a player for us”
