Mike Miller begins his first year as the head women’s tennis coach at Marietta College in 2016-17. Miller served as an assistant coach for both the men's and women's tennis teams in 2015-16.
Miller brings extensive coaching experience to the Pioneer program. He served as the head boy’s and girl’s tennis coach at Parkersburg South High School from 1986-90 and then held the same position at Marietta High School from 1990-2014.
At the time of his high school retirement in 2014, Miller had claimed 19 league championships in his career and won more than 400 varsity high school matches.
Miller earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biological Sciences with minors in Physical Education and General Sciences from Kent State University in 1976. He completed a degree in Speech Communications from West Virginia University in 1981.
