Colten Holdren

Colten Holdren begins his first year as assistant coach for the Marietta College men’s soccer team in 2024-25.

Although this is his first collegiate coaching experience, Holdren has collected a great deal of knowledge after an 11 year run as the  assistant coach for the Marietta High School soccer program.  During his tenure, Holdren helped develop a program that won several conference and district titles, including two teams (2019 and 2021) that went undefeated in the regular season.

In addition to his assistant coaching role at Marietta, Holdren also served as the Director of Coaching for Club Ohio United, and also has worked with the Columbus Crew Academy.

Holdren is a member of the United Soccer Coaches, the national coaches association that encompasses all levels of coaching, from the professional, collegiate, high school and club levels.  His talent and passion for the sport led him to being named the Assistant Coach of the Year by the South East District Soccer Coaches Association.

Originally from Marietta, Ohio, Holdren was a four-year starter at Marietta High School.  He then went on to attend Ohio State University where he studied journalism.
