Dominic Perella begins his third year at Marietta College as assistant men's lacrosse coach in 2020-21.

Perella came to Marietta after serving as the assistant coach at Peters Township High School in McMurray, Pennsylvania for two years. He served as the Indians defensive coordinator and helped them to their first ever Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League Championship in 2017.

During his two seasons at Peters Township, Perella coaches a pair of scholastic All-Americans, eight all-conference and three All-WPIAL selections.

Perella began his coaching career as an assistant coach with the Seneca Valley Lacrosse Association in Cranberry, Pennsylvania where he served as the defensive coordinator.

In addition to his scholastic coaching experience, Perella worked as the recruiting coordinator for Low and Away Lacrosse in Pittsburgh. Perella assisted club members through the NCAA recruiting process.

A long-stick midfielder at Thiel College, an NCAA Division III member of the Presidents Athletic Conference in Greenville, Pennsylvania, Perella started all four years for the Tomcats. He served as team captain his senior year and led Thiel to the PAC Championship game. Perella also played two years of football at Thiel and was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Perella received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Thiel College in 2014.

A native of Pittsburgh, Perella was a three-sport standout at Seton-LaSalle Catholic High School where he played football, basketball and lacrosse. He was named team captain and MVP his senior season of lacrosse.
