Ron Warner begins his third season as a part-time volunteer assistant with the men’s basketball program in 2011-12.
Warner has an impressive high school coaching resume. He began his career as an assistant coach at Caldwell High School for three years before becoming a varsity assistant at Marietta High School for eight years. Warner was then hired at the varsity head coach at Marietta in 2000 and coached the Tigers program for six seasons.
Warner, a 1998 graduate of Marietta College, is an Intervention Specialist at Marietta High School with a specialization in mathematics. He recently began his 19th year in the Marietta City School system.
Warner resides in Marietta with his wife, Suzan, and four children: Justin, 15, Megan, 12, Jessica, 12, and Isaac, 7.
