Alexandra Corbitt

Alexandra Corbitt began her role as Clinical Athletic Trainer at Marietta College in the fall of 2021. 
 
Corbitt came to Marietta after a stint at Salem (WV) University where she served as Assistant Athletic Trainer for three seasons.  She worked primarily with the volleyball, cross country, track and field, swimming, and water polo teams.  She even filled in as Emergency Head Coach of the Salem University Water Polo team for one weekend as the head coach was put in Covid quarantine.  The team, under her guidance, won all three games that weekend.

Corbitt is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA). She is also a member of the Ohio Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Associations.  She received her board certification in Athletic Training in 2012 and has received licenses from Oklahoma Medical Board, the West Virginia Physical Therapy Board, and the Ohio OTPTAT 
Board.
 
Recently, Corbitt also took on a position as Athletic Trainer Supervisor at Memorial Health System, located in Marietta.

Corbitt attended West Virginia Wesleyan College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training 2012 and then a Master of Science in 2014.  In 2020, she earned a Masters of Education from Salem University.
 
Corbitt is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, but now resides in Vienna, W. Va.  She is married to her husband Patrick "PJ" Corbitt, and they have one child, Oliver, who can be seen being chased by his parents around at various Marietta sporting events.
