Zach Logan begins his third season as assistant football coach at Marietta College in 2016. He will coach the defensive backs for the Pioneers this fall. Logan served as Co-Interim Track and Field Coach lduring the 2014-15 school year coaching the Pioneer sprinters.
Logan came to Marietta College after coaching the defensive backs at Trotwood-Madison High School in Ohio.
Logan graduated from Purdue University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Management. He completed a Master of Science in Human Performance from Texas Southern University in 2010.
The gridiron is a very familiar place for Logan as he played defensive back in the Big Ten during his time at Purdue making 11 starts in his career. Logan also was apart of Purdue’s track and field team where he qualified for the 2007 Mideast Regional in the 400 meter dash and received all Big Ten honors.
He brings in well rounded coaching skills as he has coached two Nike All-Americans and also several state track qualifies in various events. Logan was also a coach on Trotwood-Madison 2011 state champion football team. From 2010-2012 he was a coach at Will Allen’s Youth Camp.
Aside from football, Logan was an a academic advisor at Texas Southern and most recently was an investigation officer for the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
