Stephen Mott, a 2011 graduate of Bethany College, begins his second season as an assistant football coach for the Pioneers in 2012. Mott will coach the running backs.
Mott was the starting fullback for the Bison until suffering a career-ending shoulder injury during the preseason of his junior year.
After the shoulder injury, Mott joined the Bethany coaching staff and served as a student assistant for three seasons.
Mott’s duties included serving as the special teams coordinator for two seasons as well as being responsible for all game-day setup.
Mott, a native of Lake Oswego, Oregon, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Social Studies from Bethany.
