Lane Knost joins the Marietta College football staff in 2015. He comes to Marietta after finishing his collegiate playing career at Kentucky Christian University last year. Knost will coach the Pioneer tight ends.
Knost was a four-year starter and team captain for the Knights as a wide receiver, tight end and slot receiver. He was a member of the first nationally ranked Kentucky Christian team in 2012. Knost earned USA College Football All-American honors as a senior and was invited to play in the USA College Football Bowl.
Knost has worked several camps including the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at UCLA, Athletes In Action and Camp Concern Christian Youth Camp. Knost has also traveled abroad on a mission trip to Mexico with Athletes In Action.
Knost graduated from Kentucky Christian University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in University Studies; Bible and a minor in Human Services.
