Jermaine Mitchell, a 2011 graduate of Allegheny College, begins his second season as an assistant football coach for the Pioneers in 2012. Mitchell will coach the defensive line.

Mitchell, a captain and four-year starter with the Gators, was an All-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) honoree, earning second team as a senior.

Mitchell served as a recruiting assistant at Allegheny reviewing game footage on prospective recruits.

Mitchell, a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Allegheny College.
