Ben Jameson begins his first year as assistant football coach at Marietta College in 2013. Jameson will be coaching the Pioneer receivers.
Jameson comes to Marietta after serving as the special teams coach last season at Bethel University in St. Paul, Minn. Jameson helped lead the Royals to a 9-3 record and an at-large bid into the NCAA Championship where Bethel advanced to the second round.
Jameson earned two varsity letters at Bethel as a wide receiver and punter. He led the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in punting his junior year averaging 36.4 yards per punt.
Jameson completed a Bachelor’s of Arts in Education from Bethel University in 2013. He holds certification in physical education (Grades K-12) and health education (Grades 6-12).
A native of State College, Pa., Jameson has worked summers as an assistant to the facilities/equipment manager at Penn State University since 2004. He has also worked for seven summers as an assistant basketball and football coach for the Calvary Sports Camp for Youth.
