Biography

2011: Appeared in 16 games off the bench…Batted .167 in limited at bats…Played errorless defense in the outfield.

2010: Appeared in 23 games and made seven starts as a sophomore outfielder…Batted .361 with 13 hits, including one double and one triple, while adding 12 runs scored and eight RBI…Had a season-high two hits against Denison and Ohio Northern.

2009: Served as the fourth outfielder as a freshman…Appeared in 24 games and made 14 starts…Batted .296 with three doubles, 19 runs scored and 14 RBI…Had four multiple-hit games, including three-hit performances against Baldwin-Wallace and Pitt-Greensburg.

Coach Brewer says: “Niko is one of the eight seniors we have on our roster.  During his career he has played several roles; starter, pinch hitter, pinch runner, and defensive replacement.  Niko is one of a few guys we are looking at for the third outfield spot.  A great team guy, we expect Niko to have a great senior season.”
