2011: Named to the World Series All-Tournament Team while earning his second varsity letter…Was 3-0 with a 0.96 ERA in 28.0 innings of work…Made six appearances and four starts…Held opponents to a .160 batting average…Recorded a win in each of his last three starts including against Keystone in the World Series…Recorded a season-high eight strikeouts against Mount Union.

2010: Earned his first varsity letter as a sophomore pitcher…Made 12 appearances and eight starts…Finished 3-1 with 48 strikeouts and a 4.14 ERA in 45 2/3 innings…Struck out a season-best 10 in a six-inning start against Capital.

2009: Named the USA South Rookie Pitcher of the Year as a freshman at Methodist (N.C.)…Went 2-4 with 45 strikeouts and a 4.56 ERA in 47 1/3 innings.

Coach Brewer says: “Mike made the most of his opportunities last spring.  He made some big starts for us, none bigger or better than his effort against Keystone College in Appleton.  Mike is another guy who we believe will play a larger role this spring.  We are optimistic that this will be his best year in the Pinstripes.”
