Biography

2011: Earned his second varsity letter after posting a 2-0 record with a 0.72 ERA in 25.0 innings of work…Made 13 appearances with one start…Pitched 2.0 shutout innings to pick up the save against Buena Vista in the World Series…Started and went 6.0 innings to get the win against Mount Union…Had a career-high four strikeouts against Washington and Jefferson.

2010: Earned his first varsity letter a sophomore relief specialist…Finished 1-0 with 13 strikeouts and a 3.66 ERA in 14 appearances and 19 2/3 innings…Picked up his first collegiate win after pitching 1 2/3 shutout innings against Washington & Jefferson…Struck out a career-best two hitters against Hardin-Simmons, Ohio Wesleyan, Muskingum and Heidelberg.

2009: Made one varsity appearance as a freshman reliever.

Coach Brewer says: “Logan was very impressive in his appearances last spring.  Serving as the set-up man, we felt really good giving him the ball in the late innings.  We expect Logan to play a bigger role this spring; working out of the bullpen and spot starting when the situation dictates.”
