2011: Earned second team All-American and first team All-Mideast Region and All-OAC honors while earning his second varsity letter…Named the World Series Most Outstanding Player and All-Tournament for the OAC and Mideast Regional tournaments…Led the team with 94.2 innings pitched and two shutouts and was second with 12 wins, 14 starts and two complete games…Finished 12-2 with a 1.62 ERA and 86 strikeouts…Held opponents to a .179 batting average.

2010: Named the Kent Tekulve OAC Co-Pitcher of the Year and All-Region first team while earning his first varsity letter as a sophomore…Tied for the team lead with nine victories and paced the squad with 15 starts, 85 innings pitched and 80 strikeouts…Finished 9-4 with a 3.18 ERA in 19 appearances…Struck out a career-best 10 hitters against Mary Hardin-Baylor and John Carroll…Member of OAC All-Tournament Team.

2009: Made five appearances and three starts as a freshman…Finished 1-0 with 16 strikeouts and a 6.89 ERA in 15 2/3 innings…Struck out a season-best five in against Muskingum and Pitt-Greensburg.

Coach Brewer says: “Austin has thrown a lot of big games in his distinguished career.  His development throughout his career has been very impressive.  He is a much more polished and complete pitcher.  As good as Austin has been, we believe this will be his best year in the Pinstripes.”
