WESTERVILLE, Ohio — Freshman
Donovan Masters (Hilliard, Ohio/Hilliard Bradley) came off the bench in his Marietta College Men's Lacrosse debut and delivered a big performance, leading him to earn the Ohio Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week as announced Monday (Feb. 16) afternoon by the league office.
Masters won his first ever weekly award after a game that saw him score four goals on only seven shots. He also assisted on three others for a total of seven points in the contest. The performance helped the Pioneers defeat Thiel College, 23-0, last Sunday in their season opener.
Marietta will return to action Tuesday (Feb. 17) as they travel to battle Westminster College, with the game scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
