WESTERVILLE, Ohio — Marietta College placed two players on the 2024-25 All-Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Team announced Wednesday (Feb. 26) morning by the league office. For the second year straight, Paige Tolson (Guysville, Ohio/Federal Hocking) was named to the first team and, for the first time in her career, Adi Hill (Marietta, Ohio/Marietta) earned second team honors.

"I am so happy for both Paige and Adi to be recognized as ALL-OAC players," Marietta head coach Jenna Andersen said. "The two of them have been very dedicated and vital members of our program since they stepped on campus. This is a testament to them for how hard they have worked not only this year but throughout their careers."

Tolson earned first team honors as she placed fourth in the OAC scoring 14.8 points per game. She also played very well defensively as she collected 50 steals on the year, also good for fourth in the OAC. Tolson was the fifth best free throw shooter in the conference with an 84.6% free throw percentage.

"Paige has deservingly earned first team honors for the second year in a row," said Coach Andersen. "Paige is the ultimate competitor, and works very hard every single day. She is a player that can get a score whenever we need one, while also defending some of the best players in the conference."

Hill put together a strong senior season as she averaged 11.3 points per game, good for second on the team. She was in the top ten in the conference in three-pointers made (37) and three-point shooting percentage (35.9%).

"Adi is making her first appearance on an all-conference team this season, but she has earned this from the work she put in over her career," said Coach Andersen. "Adi took some teams by surprise this year with her ability to shoot and score the ball, but we've known she was capable of it all along. She stepped up this year and is being recognized as one of the best guards in the conference."

Marietta finished the season with a 15-11 record after getting knocked out of the OAC Tournament Tuesday evening.  The Pioneers were defeated by Capital 70-55 in the quarterfinal round.
