GREENWOOD, Indiana — Four Marietta College Pioneers were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team. Seniors
Sam Holthaus (Columbus, Ohio/University),
Petar Mijic-Barisic (Kirtland, Ohio/Kirtland), and
Lee Miller (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville) and junior
Pat Williamson (Hove, Sussex, United KIngdom/Cardinal Newman) were all named to the team due to their excellence in the classroom as well on the field.
Holthaus is an English major with a 3.84 grade point average. He played and started in all 19 matches as one of Marietta's top defenders. He was also the second leading scorer on the team with four goals.
A Marketing major, Mijic-Barisic maintains a 3.90 grade point average. He assisted on two goals while appearing in 14 games, making eight starts in the midfield.
Miller is a Biochemistry major with a 3.98 GPA. He scored a goal and assisted on two others for the season in 18 matchups.
Williamson, a Management major, has a 3.62 grade point average. He appeared in all 19 games for the Pioneers, scoring one goal and collecting two assists.
To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at their current institution.
Marietta finished the 2025 season with a 5-12-2 overall record and 2-6 in the OAC.
