WESTERVILLE, Ohio — Marietta College sophomore point guard Kelsey Harlan (Sardis, Ohio/River) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week. The league office made the announcement Monday (Nov. 24) afternoon.

Harlan was named the Lisa Wagner Most Valuable Player after leading the Pioneers in scoring for both games during the 39th annual Jim Meagle Classic last weekend. Against Washington and Jefferson on Friday (Nov. 21), she scored 21 points and dished out six assists in a losing effort. In Marietta's victory over #17-ranked Carnegie Mellon on Saturday, Harlan added a career high 25 points to go along with five steals and five assists.

For the week, Harlan averaged 23 points and 6.5 assists, while shooting 57 percent from the floor (16-of-28).

Harlan currently leads the team in scoring this season as she is averaging 15.3 points per game, placing her second in the OAC.

Marietta plays just one game this week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. They will travel to Mount St. Joseph University to battle the Lions this Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
