MARIETTA, Ohio — Marietta College will induct the 36th class of Pioneer greats into the Athletic Hall of Fame as part of the annual Winter Weekend festivities slated for February 1-3, 2019.
The class of 2019 includes All-American baseball player
Darrell Fatzinger '94, All-Ohio Athletic Conference women's soccer standout
Amy Lehosit '06, former Triple-A pitcher with the San Diego Padres and Arizona Diamondbacks
Mike DeMark '06, All-Region softball outfielder
Lindsey Romick '07, football All-American
Clay Ream '08 and veteran softball coach
Jeanne Arbuckle.
The Hall of Fame ceremony begins at 7 p.m., Saturday, February 2, in the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center. The Pioneer men's and women's basketball teams will also be in action against OAC rival Ohio Northern University. The women play at 1 p.m. followed by the men's game at 3 p.m.

In addition to the Hall of Fame inductions three other awards will be presented at the banquet. Longtime Pioneer supporter
Joe Grimm will be honored with the Bill Robinson Distinguished Service Award. The award is presented to individuals for outstanding service and contributions to Marietta College Athletics.
The outstanding senior male and female athletes from the 2017-18 academic year will also be honored. All-American running back
Roger Walker will receive the prestigious Way-Weigelt Award and All-American women's basketball player
Amisha Herd will receive the Cleland-Lazorik Award.

Darrell D. Fatzinger '94 — Baseball
Fatzinger played four years of baseball for legendary Pioneer skipper Don Schaly earning three varsity letters. He was a two-time All-American winning second team honors his junior and senior seasons.
The OAC Jack Rafeld Player of the Year in 1993, Fatzinger was named the first team All-OAC first baseman in 1993 and 1994. His .422 career batting still ranks third all-time in the OAC and second in Pioneer history. Fatzinger was also a two-time first team All-Mideast Region selection.
Fatzinger helped lead the Etta Express to four straight OAC Tournament Championships. The Pioneers finished in first place during the regular season and were the No. 1 seed and host for the OAC Tournament in each of those four years. Marietta also made four NCAA Mideast Regional appearances advancing to the World Series in 1991 and 1992.
Fatzinger earned a bachelor's degree in General Studies from Marietta College in 1994. He played baseball professionally with the Ohio Valley Redcoats of the Frontier League. Fatzinger has over 20 years experience in the mortgage industry and is currently self-employed. Fatzinger and his wife Erin, 1998 Marietta graduate, have three children, Carly, Addison and Noah.
Amy J. Lehosit '06 — Soccer
Lehosit earned four varsity letters in soccer under former Pioneer coach Patrick Holguin. She served as team captain her junior and senior seasons. Lehosit was a four-time All-OAC honoree garnering first team accolades in 2004 and 2005, second team in 2003 and honorable mention in 2002. She was named third team All-Great Lakes Region in 2005.

The Pioneer career record holder for assists with 28, Lehosit also ranks second all-time with 82 total points and third with 27 goals scored. She holds three of the program's top-five single season performances for assists with 8 in 2002 (second most) and 7 in 2003 and 2004 (third most).
Lehosit was named the Pioneers' Golden Boot Award winner as the team's leading scorer in each of her four seasons in the Navy Blue and White. She earned team Most Valuable Player honors three times.
Marietta enjoyed unparalleled success in women's soccer with Lehosit leading the way. The Pioneers were 11-7-1 her freshman season and then posted records of 12-7-1, 12-6 and 14-3-1 marking the best four-year span in program history. The 2003 team was the first to qualify for the OAC Tournament and the 2005 team holds the program record for wins.
Lehosit earned a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Marietta College in 2006 and a master's degree in Clinical/Mental Health Counseling from Heidelberg University in 2013. She is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor at Tiffin University. Lehosit and her husband Nick Spell, a 2003 Marietta graduate, have two children, Luke and Jake.
Michael M. DeMark '06 — Baseball
DeMark played four years of baseball earning three varsity letters for current Pioneer head coach
Brian Brewer. He was named a second team All-American in 2004 and the OAC Kent Tekulve Pitcher of the Year in 2005.
DeMark earned first team All-OAC and All-Mideast Region honors in each of his final three seasons. He led the OAC in wins with 12 in 2004 and 10 in 2005. He also topped the OAC in strikeouts with 101 in 2004 and 76 in 2005.
The Etta Express won the OAC Regular Season Championship in 2004 and 2005. DeMark helped lead the Pioneers to the 2006 NCAA Mideast Regional and National Championships.
Following his time in the pinstripes, DeMark signed professionally with the Florence Freedom of the Frontier League. He went to play in the San Diego Padre, Arizona Diamondback and Oakland Athletic organizations reaching the Triple-A level. He was a member of several minor league championship teams at both the Double-A and Triple-A levels and was named to multiple All-Star teams. DeMark played for Italy in the 2017 World Baseball Classic and has played internationally in Venezuela, Mexico and Taiwan.
DeMark earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Marietta College in 2006.
Lindsey E. Romick '07 — Softball
Romick transferred to Marietta her sophomore year and earned three varsity letters in softball playing for fellow inductee Coach Jeanne Arbuckle. She was a two-time All-Region honoree and led the OAC with 14 doubles in 2005.
The 2007 OAC Clyde Lamb Award winner, Romick earned first team All-OAC honors in 2006 and 2007. In addition to earning Academic All-OAC recognition in 2006 and 2007, she was named second team CoSIDA Academic All-District in 2007.
Romick helped lead the Pioneers to three straight OAC Tournament appearances from 2005-07 and back-to-back runners-up finishes in 2006 and 2007. The 2007 team won a program record 34 games and advanced to the NCAA Regional Tournament for the second time in program history.
Romick earned a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Marietta College in 2007. She completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Chemistry from Miami University in 2011. She is currently the Director of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR)-Based Metabolomics Core and Assistant Professor of Pathology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
The 2017 Marietta College Outstanding Young Alumna, Romick and her husband Andrew Rosendale, a 2007 Marietta graduate, have two children, Lillian and Annabelle.
Clay H. Ream '08 — Football
Ream earned four varsity letters in football playing two seasons each for former head coaches Todd Glaser and Curt Wiese. He is one of just 13 Pioneers to garner All-American recognition earning third team honors in 2006.
A four-time All-OAC honoree, Ream earned first team accolades in 2006 and 2007, was a second team pick in 2005 and was named honorable mention as a freshman in 2004. The defensive lineman was a two-time All-North Region selection including first team honors in 2006.
Ream led the Pioneers in tackles for a loss in 2005 and 2006 with 11.0 each season. He also led the Navy Blue and White in quarterback sacks with 6.0 in 2007. Following his senior season, Ream helped the United State defeat Mexico, 37-19, in the Aztec Bowl finishing with three tackles and one sack.
Ream earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Marietta College in 2008. He is currently a CrossFit L2 Trainer and Gym Manager of CrossFit Wooster/419. Ream and his wife Bethany are expecting their first child in May.
Jeanne Arbuckle — Softball and Volleyball Coach
The driving force behind Marietta softball, Arbuckle compiled a career record of 571-529-3 (.519 winning percentage). She is the winningest coach in program history having led the Pioneers in all but eight of the school's 39 seasons of varsity intercollegiate softball. She is one of just three coaches in the history of OAC softball to reach 500 wins.
Arbuckle led the Pioneers to the 1996 OAC Championship and a trip to the NCAA Tournament, the first time a women's team reached the NCAA Tournament in Marietta College history. The 2007 season was a career best as the Pioneers went 34-12 setting the program record for wins and made their second appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
Arbuckle was named the OAC Coach of the Year in 1995 and 1996 and was the OAC Softball Coaching Staff of the Year in 2006. She was also named the NCAA Region Coach of the Year following the 2006 season.
Hired in the fall of 1987 in the dual role of volleyball and softball coach. She was named Senior Woman Administrator and Assistant Athletics Director in 1989. Arbuckle was promoted to Associate Athletics Director in 2003 and took over as Chair of the Physical Education Department at the same time.
Serving as the head coach of two sports for 10 years, Arbuckle is also Marietta College's winningest volleyball coach with a career record of 172-158 (.521 winning percentage).
