Box Score 2 MARIETTA, Ohio — The Marietta College volleyball team dropped a pair of 3-0 decisions Saturday (Sept. 5) in the annual River City Tournament. The losses drop the Pioneers to 2-2 on the season.
Union College posted set scores of 25-9, 25-20 and 25-19 over the Pioneers.
Erica Denallo (Independence/Independence) led Marietta with eight kills, while
Amanda Arrowood (Reynoldsburg/Groveport Madison) finished with six kills.
Julia Moskaluk (Copley/Revere) had 21 assists and
Mary Ervin (Lewis Center/Olentangy Orange) had a team-high 14 digs.
In the final match of the tournament, Centre College downed the Pioneers 25-17, 25-17 and 25-20.
Devin Walter (Indianapolis, Ind./Southport) led the Marietta attack with 10 kills. Moskaluk dished out 17 assists, while Ervin notched 22 digs.
