Box Score DANVILLE, Ky. – Centre College tallied five-second half goals to pull away from the Marietta College women's soccer team posting a 7-0 win on Saturday (Sept, 1) evening. The Pioneers fall to 0-2 on the season while Centre moves to 2-0.

Centre's Mary Taylor Kersey scored an unassisted goal off a rebound in the 6th minute. Hannah Kroskie took a cross from Alex Combs and beat Pioneer keeper Kaitlyn Pearse (Galena/Olentangy Orange) for a 2-0 lead in the first half.

Senior Erin Panczyk (Twinsburg/Twinsburg) had a pair of shots in the opening period for the Pioneers. However, Centre's keeper, Megan Foley, saved both.

Centre took 19 shots to Marietta's two. The Colonels dominated the corner kick battle 13-0.

Marietta is back in action on Wednesday (Sept. 5) when the Pioneers travel to the College of Wooster. Kick off is set for 5 p.m.
