BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace scored 28 first quarter points and never looked back as the Yellow Jackets defeated Marietta College 66-14 Saturday (Oct. 27) afternoon in Ohio Athletic Conference football action. Baldwin Wallace moves to 7-1 overall and 6-1 in the OAC, while Marietta falls to 0-8 and 0-7 in the OAC. [

The Baldwin Wallace defense held the Pioneers to a three and out on each of their first two possessions, while the Yellow Jacket offense scored a pair of early touchdowns. Ryan O'Rourke scored on an eight-yard run and Nolan Sordyl dove in from two yards out to give BW a 14-0 lead with 7:06 left in the first quarter.
On the ensuing kickoff, Marietta fumbled the ball and BW recovered it on the Pioneer 30-yard line. On the very next play O'Rourke hit Aaron Manders for a 30-yard touchdown and a 21-0 lead with 6:49 on the clock in the opening period.

Joe Terrell (Clinton, Md./Fredrick Douglas)# rushed for four yards turning the ball over to the Yellow Jackets on downs. Eight plays later O'Rourke hit Mike McGervey on a seven-yard scoring strike pushing the lead to 28-0.

Fulton ended the day 19-of-42 for 223 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions. Roberts caught six passes for 90 yards and Harris had three receptions for 54 yards and two scores. #
Tevin Dones (Antioch, Calif./Antioch)# was the leading rusher with 80 yards on 14 carries.
Baldwin Wallace added two touchdowns in the third quarter and two more in the fourth. Marietta's second score of the day was a 10-yard pass from Fulton to Harris early in the fourth quarter.
O'Rourke completed 11-of-14 passes for 210 yards. He had four touchdowns and was intercepted once. Manders caught four aerials for 85 yards and two touchdowns. Issac Reed rushed for 76 yards on 13 carries.
