Playing in the opening match of the OAC/NCAC Festival on the campus of Kenyon College, The Fighting Scots scored the winning goal a little over seven minutes into the second overtime period. Jonathon Fox tallied the unassisted goal in the 108th minute.

Wesley Riley (Marietta/Marietta) led the Pioneers' attack with five shots, including two on goal. Sophomore midfielder
Miles Alexander (Bellbrook/Bellbrook) had three shots in the match. Sophomore goalkeeper
Chris Stollar (Marietta/Marietta) had two saves, while Wooster keeper Taylor Takacs had five.
For the match, Marietta outshot Wooster 15-14, including 3-2 in extra time. The Pioneers took six corner kicks to the Scots' four.
