ALLIANCE, Ohio — Marietta College volleyball traveled to the University of Mount Union for its first road test of the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) season and suffered a 3-0 (25-18, 25-13, 25-14) setback Wednesday (Sept. 29) night. [Box Score]

The injury-depleted Pioneers fell to 5-13 overall and 0-2 in league play. The Purple Raiders stretched their win streak to 11 matches and improved to 12-4 overall, 2-0 in the OAC.

Junior right side hitter Meredith Storey (Olmsted Falls/Olmsted Falls) paced Marietta with seven kills. Sophomore setter Dana Miller (Frazeysburg/Tri-Valley) dished out a team-best 13 assists. Sophomore setter Ally Jenkins (Twinsburg/Walsh Jesuit) contributed three service aces. Sophomore libero Jen Braun (Chagrin Falls/Kenston) and junior outside hitter Elizabeth Robbe (Crystal Falls, Mich./Forest Park) both added five digs in the loss.

Marietta resumes OAC play Saturday (Oct. 2) afternoon when Baldwin-Wallace College visits Ban Johnson Arena for a match at 1 p.m.
